Galveston, Texas

I just got back from Galveston, Texas. I had a few days of training. I was nervous about going on a business trip all by myself. It went really well and I could totally see myself traveling on business trips. I loved staying in a hotel by myself, I mean I missed Adam and all but it was a ton of fun. There were about 30 new agents there and some of them were really amazingly awesome people. It was so sad to see Galveston after hurricane Ike. I was there a year ago and it looked SO different. I posted some pictures. I wish I would have taken some pictures of my new agent friends. We stayed up way too late every night and had long kind of boring meetings all day. It was awesome though. I learned alot and am excited to see where it takes me. It was mostly about life insurance and retirement planning.

New York

So we are totally broke, especially since I started a new career this year in insurance and make half what i did last year. That being said we had the opportunity to go to new york for a week for practically free. It was amazing and so worth it. Of course this week I'm playing catch up and have been so busy. We did all the tourist stuff like the statue of liberty, empire state building, central park, time square, etc. We also got on the wrong subway and ended up in Brooklyn which was an adventure. We stayed in my brother in laws hotel room so it was free and my sister paid for half of my ticket. The food in New York is so expensive. There are no free refills on drinks most places, which blows.(we found that out the hard way) Adam took over 1000 pictures and many videos. We made fun of him the whole time. That is one of the reasons I love him. He is deprived and has been on a plane once before and hasn't traveled out of the states surrounding nevada, poor guy. (We went to the zoo last year and it was the only time he had been)I knew he would take tons of pictures so I didn't go to the top of the empire state building. 1 because it cost $20 and 2 because im deathly afraid of heights. Two rungs up a ladder and my knees are shaking from fear. I posted a few picture...if you can tell is way really cold there.

Whats new

So Stussy is getting better. I don't want to give him away anymore, which is a good sign. He is so cute sometimes I just want to hug him until his head pops off. He loves to lay next to, or on top of Mossimo. Mossimo doesn't really like that he gets up and lays somewhere else then two seconds later Stussy goes and lays next to him again. Its a cute game i don't think Mossi enjoys it. Adam has been building a BBQ island in our backyard so Stussy was trying to help but was locked in the dog run. He got his head stuck in the fence because he is getting so big. So of couse we took pictures, because it was funny and we are cruel. Ah good times.

BLOG

OK so I finally broke down and started a blog. I can't promise I will update it often but I will try. Our lives aren't very exciting. I have been married for almost 7 years to a wonderful man named Adam. We don't have kids yet but we have nieces and a nephew that keep us busy. We have two golden retrievers. Mossimo is 5 and Stussy is 5 months old. Stussy will be lucky to make it to 1.WARNING: I do use sarcasm frequently, sorry. No seriously though that puppy is very naughty and made us realize we are not ready for kids yet. I won't type a lot especially because my hand is broken and I have a cast so I'm typing with one hand. I broke my hand wakesurfing and have to have a cast for 3 months. I was going to the lake every weekend but that put a stop to that.
